Description:
After the first yacht tender was launched in 2019, Electroservice Urk immediately started designing the installation for the 2nd ship in the YXT 24 Evolution series for Lynx Yachts.
In mid-2020, in the full bloom of the coronavirus, the 2nd yacht called ‘Roe Shadow’ for Lynx Yachts was completed. The robust and versatile yacht is designed to sail anywhere. She has a length of 27m and is powered by two 800hp MAN engines for a cruising speed of 12 knots.
What is special is that the yacht is used as a support ship. The owner already owns an even larger yacht. The YXT 24 is used to support and guide this mother ship. There are two crew cabins, three refrigerators, three freezers, three washers and three dryers to maximize her duties as a support vessel. In addition, the YXT 24 offers space for the owner’s guests, as well as for the water sports toys including two Sea-Doos and various diving and kitesurfing gear. There is even a crane to lift these on and off the boat. There is also a comfortable terrace and a 100-inch outdoor screen for movie nights or sporting events.
